Private Sector and the SDGs, Moldova Business Week 2022

UN Moldova Resident Coordinator Office made a call to the business society in Moldova to integrate more actively the sustainability principles and Sustainable Development Goals into their operations during a panel discussion within the Moldova Business Week 2022, organized by Moldova Invest Agency.

The presentation substantiated that businesses who integrate sustainability in their activities are more attractive to clients and investors and have better business results compared to companies who do not invest in sustainability practices.

UN Moldova has a good track record in collaborating with private sector in various areas, including gender equality, integration of marginalized people, development of innovative business tools and instruments used for public policies, adoption of family and child friendly polices by companies. In this context, the UN Moldova has offered to the private sector its expertise and experience base in adoption of sustainability practices with the ultimate goal to make a positive contribution to the SDGs.
