Global progress report on Sustainable Development Goal 16 indicators: SDG 16 A wake-up call for action on peace, justice and inclusion

Jointly produced by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), collectively custodians of 18 of the 24 goal 16 indicators, this is the first report to bring together an analysis of the progress made towards all the goal 16 targets for which there are sufficient data. The report also highlights the urgency to address violence, justice, human rights and governance concerns in order to achieve more peaceful, just and inclusive societies, thus enabling progress across all aspects of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
