UN Moldova Country Results Report 2018

Although Moldova continues to face considerable challenges in the area of governance, human rights and gender equality, in 2018 several notable results were achieved in the field with the support of the United Nations and its numerous partners. The implementation of various initiatives aimed at the advancement of the human rights agenda in the country resulted in stronger human rights institutions and an improved framework for the promotion and

protection of fundamental rights.
