You can find furniture for the home, office, garden or to order in the store and at the factory managed by Serghei Bajenov in Cahul.
Sergey Bajenov's company was created in 2005, and at that stage, the business was focused on the sale of furniture.
"We signed contracts with partners who produced furniture in the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, partly in Belarus and Russia, and we started making sales. Over a period, we understood that people were coming to us who wanted custom-made furniture. And at that moment we came up with the idea to make our own workshop and have our own production," says Serghei Bajenov.
Thus, from 2007 Serghei Bajenov rented a room, bought machinery and started making furniture to order. Over time, the entrepreneur understood that he could no longer cope with the large number of orders and considered the possibility of expanding production.
In 2020, Seghei Bajenov benefited from a grant worth 30,000 euros through the "EU4Moldova: Focal Regions" programme, implemented by UNDP and UNICEF.
With this money, the entrepreneur bought equipment and machines, which tripled the productivity, quality and speed of production, while also expanding the range of products. These investments allowed the business to expand and access new markets.
"Grants for small and medium-sized businesses are an opportunity to obtain quality products faster and more efficiently, which remain not only in the market of the Republic of Moldova, but also enter the foreign market," notes the entrepreneur.
Serghei Bajenov is one of the 75 entrepreneurs from Cahul and Ungheni regions who benefited from a grant worth 30,000 euros within the "EU4Moldova: Focal Regions" programme, implemented by UNDP and UNICEF.
