The High-level Sustainable Development Goals Summit will take place on 18-19 September 2023 in New York, where each country will speak about the challenges it faces, as well as the commitments it undertakes to achieve the global goals by 2030.

In this context, the Republic of Moldova has prepared an evaluation report on country's progress towards the SDGs, which identifies the measures needed for their achievement.

Also, four consultations were organized with young people where they imagined Moldova and their life in 2030. Through the game "Imagine 2030", the young people prioritized certain Sustainable Development Goals necessary to accelerate the country's development process, suggesting concrete ideas and steps that could contribute to creating a better future at home.

The findings of the consultations with young people will be included in the Country Report on the SDGs Achievement, which will serve as a source for the country's participation in the Summit, as well as an Action Plan for the Implementation of the 2030 Agenda.

Young people from rural and urban areas, representatives of ethnic and linguistic minorities, as well as persons with various types of disabilities were invited to ensure a diverse participation of the young people and that no one was left behind.

 Note:

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) represent a call to action for all developed and developing countries - in a global partnership - to end poverty, improve healthcare and education services, reduce inequalities and promote economic growth - all within the context of addressing climate change.
