● Education system epi situation According to the Ministry of Education information on the epidemiological situation in the education system, as of January 22, there was one institution activating only on-line, with only 68 classes being in self-isolation. There were 132 positive cases of COVID-19 infections among students/pupils and 1776 were placed in self-isolation, 153 infections among teaching staff, with 74 people being placed in self-isolation. From non-didactical staff with positive tests are 54 persons with 27 in self-isolation.
● Health authorities’ capacities for anti-COVID-19 vaccine logistics According to a Communication form January 19, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, is in full preparations and has the necessary capacities to ensure an efficient logistics for the anti-COVID vaccine delivery and storage. The communication comes as a reply of the MoHLSP to the various rumors and public statements concerning the weak preparedness and the capacity of the health authorities to handle the vaccination. In this context, the MoHLSP gives assurances that the RM has currently the capacities to storage 140,000 doses of the vaccine at -70℃ with the possibilities to extend up to 400,000 doses by the end of 2021.
