● Education system epi situation According to the Ministry of Education information on the epidemiological situation in the education system, as of November 27, there were 489 positive cases of COVID-19 infections among students/pupils and 13615 were placed in self-isolation, 550 infections among teaching staff, with 583 people being placed in self-isolation. ●WHO assessment of COVID-19 preparedness and response actionsBetween 1-5 December, WHO experts in cooperation with its local partners (MoHLSP, several COVID-19 hospitals) conducted an assessment of the actions on COVID-19 management and response, according to 9 pillars of the preparedness and response plan (Country COVID-19 Intra-Action Review (IAR) in Moldova. The assessment looked at the coordination, communication, patient monitoring actions, points of entry actions and other aspects of the pandemic management. The assessment is part of a project support financially by the EU.

●2021 State Budget approvedThe drafts for fiscal policy for 2021, social insurance budget, mandatory health insurance budget and the state budget 2021 were approved by the Parliament in the first reading during plenary meeting on December 3, 2020.
