Supporting disaster resilience in the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine: Project overview of results

This project report outlines the support provided to the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine in strengthening the use of disaster risk knowledge to improve risk governance, reduce disaster risk, and build local and national resilience.
The project contributed to the following impacts:
Increased understanding of disaster risk drivers in the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine: where disaster risk is most acute; what are the key underlying vulnerabilities that increase risk; and the key policy areas to focus on to reduce disaster risk.
Greater local-level capacity to assess, plan for and reduce disaster risk in cities in the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
