The audience will listen to new and old songs from artist’s repertoire, including the song “If you’ve given or if you’ve taken”, launched in 2019, which became an anthem of integrity and anticorruption cause, gathering hundreds of thousands of views on the social media.

The first “Integrity lesson” was conducted on the 3rd of March in the Cultural Hall from Leova town and gathered pupils and teachers from several educational institutions from the district. They were informed on how to react when somebody asks for a bribe from them and whom to inform about the offences they witness. Informational materials on corruption prevention were distributed to participants.

“Corruption is a problem in our country. It affects each and everyone. I have accepted to get involved in this campaign in order to contribute to preventing this phenomenon. I am really glad that I can do this through my music,” mentioned Kapushon.

“Anticorruption education is very important to bring up a generation which would value integrity. These activities allow us talking about corruption in a language accessible for all young people,” mentions Ion Pruteanu, Head of Division at the National Anticorruption Center.

“The success of the first edition of the campaign has motivated us to continue it, for more young people to have access to anticorruption messages communicated between peers through music. We hope that the youth attending these activities will become real promoters of integrity,” says Olga Crivoliubic, UNDP Moldova Project Manager.

The campaign “An integrity lesson from Kapushon” is conducted by UNDP and National Anticorruption Center as part of the “Curbing corruption by building sustainable integrity in the Republic of Moldova” project, implemented with the support of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The first stage of the campaign was conducted in November-December 2019 in 7 educational institutions from Chisinau, Balti, Soroca and Orhei.
